Dermalux can be used to treat a number of conditions. The treatment will be customised to treat the individuals concerns and can be used as a stand alone treatment or part of a course, it can also be used in conjunction with other treatments to optimise treatment benefits. Some of the main concerns treated with Dermalux include, all grades of acne, rosacea, eczema. skin rejuvenation, and post treatment or injury recovery.

Dermalux is considered a very safe procedure as light therapy has been extensively researched and has a proven safety record. Prior to treatment a full medical and assessment will be taken to ensure there are no treatment contraindications. Treatment is painless and safe, and does not involve any discomfort or trauma to the skin. Rarely, post treatment there may be some mild redness, swelling or sensitivity, however this will resolve very quickly.

We would always recommend a course of 10 treatment , at anything from 1-2 treatments per week. Depending on your condition been treated maintenance treatments may be required, these would usually be over a longer period of time.
