Cellulite
Banish the effects of cellulite by targeting all five causes for increased body confidence.
What is Cellulite?
Cellulite – the bugbear of so many women, those bothersome dimples that seem to be so resistant to diet and exercise. Although only considered a cosmetic concern, one which can have a real impact on our body confidence and can affect up to 80-90% of women. Luckily for men they have a much lower predisposition due to the structure of the fat cell chambers. Cellulite is the term we use to describe the lumpy, dimpling skin on the thighs, buttocks, abdomen and hips. This occurs when the fats cells push up towards the layers of the skin, whilst the connective tissue bands of the fat chambers pull in the opposite direction, resulting in the bumpy appearance. Contributing factors to cellulite include genetics, body fat, age, skin thickness, hormones and lifestyle.
